Paintings

More than 100 canvases and sculptures by prominent Armenian artists are in our collection, including seascapes by Hovhannes Aivazovsky and portraits by Hovsep Pushman.

Rugs and Carpets

Historians from the ancient Middle East and Asia Minor refer to Armenia as the center of rug weaving. This gallery features many rare and inscribed carpets.

Textiles

Opulent lace, embroidery, and garments speak to the dexterity and imagination of Armenian women,  who passed their talents through the generations.

Household and Personal Objects

Hundreds of precious as well as practical artifacts attest to the skill of Armenian silversmiths, goldsmiths, and blacksmiths. Kütahya ceramics dating back to the 18th century are also displayed.
